“I’m going to kill him…” You growled, running down another flight of stairs and dashing out on the main floor to the mess hall. Man, were his promises weak.

Ever since that eventful night, you and Levi had officially started dating, becoming more intimate with each other, and overall just more loving in general. But being the Lance Corporal’s girlfriend had a bit of a disadvantage- he had to constantly be out late at meetings with the monarchy. That left you alone at night, sitting on his bed and waiting for him to come back. He had a fairly decent schedule, coming back home whenever he told you he’d be back. Cuddling soon came after, making up for the time he was out. Tonight wasn’t one of those times.

“I’ll be back around 11:45. This stupid interview will take me a while. Don’t stay up too late.”

    “You promise?”

    “Promise.”

He kissed the top of your forehead before leaving, the door slamming in your face.

He was usually punctual as a cat. Punctual with a capital “P”. You expected him to be downstairs or something, but no one was there. Feeling like giving up, your  back rested against the wall in defeat. You headed back out the front, when a faint trotting sound lured you to its location.

Hearing a horse neigh from the front of HQ, your feet sped across the wooden floor and outside, where the sight of a carriage relieved you. You smiled a bit, still running, seeing Hanji and Erwin coming out. But Levi didn't appear. Your teeth grit them, and they both turned and looked at you in surprise.

"(f/n), is something the matter?" Erwin asked calmly, eyebrows raising at the slightest seeing you panting and out of breath.

"Le- hah- Where's-" You breathed, hands resting on your knees. "Where's Levi?" You finally looked back up at the two. Hanji's lips pouted out in front of her, cocking her head to the side, a hand on her chin.

"Mm, Shorty? He left the meeting early and went off into town or something. Said something about blowing off some steam at a bar, or whatever." Her fingers danced off into the air as she finished speaking.

'A bar? Does that mean... Oh god. Not again.'

Erwin nodded in agreement, giving you a reassuring smile. "Levi should be back soon, (f/n). Please don't worry about him."

"I-I can't! What if he hurts himself again? I need to go now, sorry." Your eyebrows slanted in a worried manner. Set on finding Levi, you walked towards the forest surrounding the quarters.

"Wait! (f/n)! What if you can't bring him back? Do you need help?" Hanji called from behind, making you snap your head up in realization. Levi was stubborn- maybe he wouldn't want to leave. Your memories fled back to the time when he became tipsy, remembering just how crazy things could get.

Yup. All the craziness. And the broom grinding.
Your eyes squeezed shut, trying to get the image out of your mind. Then it hit you.

"Actually, I have an idea." You darkly smirked, coming up with a plan that just might get you into more trouble than you hoped. "Would you happen to have a spare broom, Erwin?"

"Y-Yes, but... What do you plan to do with it?"

"Just a little plan to get Levi to follow me." Your fingertips pressed against each other in front of your chest, a mischievous glint in your eyes.

"Okay, got it, now where is..." You were carrying a sack behind your back, wrapped around a long object that jutted out. The only thing left was to find Levi at some sort of-

"Tch, I could probably take on 50 titans faster than you'd get a girlfriend!" That was it. That was Levi. You followed the sound to a place with dimly lit oil lamps, where the chatter got louder. You saw the sign above the little structure, and pushed the door open. You already felt disgusted when you stepped inside. All too familiar.

The same heavy air, dingy smells, and loud yelling and hollering. Your eyes shot from corner to corner, trying to locate Levi. But you soon found him in corner, leaning back on a bench with two other men. Shakily stepping forward, you approached them.

"But do you even have a girlfriend, Mr. Lance Corporal?" A boisterous voice cut in.

"Yeah, I do, and she's-" Levi hazily looked up at you. "You see? That's her."

"Levi, we have to go-" you tried speaking.

"Haha, not bad Levi, she's got a nice rack!" The one on his left shouted.

"Her ass isn't half bad either!" Another added, smiling sloppily at you. His eyes seemed to go all over your figure, causing you to gasp and jump back a little.

You didn't know whether your blush was out of anger or embarrassment.

"Calm yourself dipshits, boobs and ass are the same damn thing." Levi hoarsely laughed, and the others followed suit. "The same damn difference."

Your jaw dropped to the floor. "L-Levi!"

"What!?"

"You need to come home!"

"No, I'm staying here for another hour! Just leave!" He barked.

You breathed out in frustration, looking up at the ceiling and back down at the table.

"Levi. I won't say this again. We're leaving." You sternly spoke this time, eyes narrowing at him. He just clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes in repsonse.

"So what? I'm having fun here, calm your tits."

Your eyes shut again in disgust. "Levi, I love you, I don't want to see you get hurt again." You tried to speak calmly, but his insults and backfires weren't helping.

"I don't give a fuck about whether I get hurt or not, just leave!" He resumed talking with the two men, leaving you out of options. You set down the sack you had been carrying, taking out its contents.

'Fine, we'll do this the hard way.'
When you stood back up, the object in hand, Levi’s expression grew slightly more concerned.

"Why'd you bring Broomy here!?"

You burst in laughter.

"B-Broomy? I didn't know it had a name." You devilishly smirked. This was gold. "If it's that special to you...."

Levi noticed the look in your eyes and slammed his fists on the table. "(f/n), what are you going to do with it?"

"If you don't come back to HQ with me... Something just might happen to your precious broom."

"Broomy," Levi corrected.

"Same damn difference."

You smirked, holding the broom horizontally so that it hovered above your thigh, which was raised.

"N-NO DON'T BREAK IT!"

"Will you come home then?"

"Of course not, just don't-"

SNAP.

The two pieces of the broom lay between your fingers, and Levi gawked in horror. His death glare shifted to you, and he soon climbed on top of the table, heading towards you.

Time to start the chase.

You fled out of the bar, Levi slowed due to the amount he had drank. Thankfully, you were pretty fast on your feet when the tension was low.

"(F/N)! GET THE FUCK BACK HERE!" Levi bellowed, causing you laugh harder, outrunning Levi for quite a bit.

"You want Broomy, you'll have to try and catch me!" You giggled. What followed was the most exhausting run in your life, Levi screaming curses to add on to the excitement. You were relieved that you reached headquarters faster than you expected. Just making your way underneath the canopy of the trees, you heard a thud.

Turning around, you saw Levi face planted on the ground.

Sighing, you walked over and kneeled in front of his tired figure. His hands were stretched out in front of him, his eyes closed in a relaxed manner. You smiled softly, brushing a few of his sharp raven locks out of his eyes. You always found his sleeping face to be cute, mouth parted slightly. After admiring his helpless state, you swung his arms over your shoulder like that night before, helping him hobble back. This time, he didn't say a word.

“Can’t believe I have to do this again…” You whispered, once again opening the door to the larger room that belonged to him.

He was still silent, and you thought you could hear slight snores coming from his mouth. It relaxed you, knowing he still wasn’t awake. His arm still slung over your body, you set him down on his bed, carefully resting his head against the soft pillow. Noticing that he was slightly sweaty, you took off his jacket, boots, and straps, piling them into a corner. He laid there, peacefully sound asleep, his eyebrows furrowed slightly. You took a minute to stare at the way the blue glow of the room danced off of his nose and slightly reddened cheeks, bringing you closer to the point where your face was right in front of his.

“You can be a pain sometimes…” You said softly, making Levi’s head twitch. Your eyes traveled down to his lips, where the smell of beer was evident. It was so hard to not kiss him right then and there, and you almost did. But instead, your soft pink flesh landed on his forehead.

“(f/n)…” You heard him mutter.

You decided it was better to get out of his quarters- didn’t want to make the same mistake like last time.

Before you closed the door, you took one last glance at your lover, forgiving him for everything.

Levi woke up with a start the next morning, vision still hazy from last night. It was all a blur to him, the faintest of voices cracking in his head. Senses still dizzy, he limped over to his dresser, resting a hand on the piece for support. Staring at the mirror that was on the wood, he took in his baggy eyes, rings of dark blue ghosting the skin under them.

“What did I even do last night?” He said to himself, shedding out from his old, dirty clothes. He brought his shirt up to his nose, smelling it for any clues. Once the fermented scent of alcohol reached his nostrils, everything came back. The meeting. The pub with those disgusting snobs. And then… he remembered you. His eyeballs looked like they were about to burst from his sockets.

“(f/n)….” He growled, fist clenching in anger. He stormed out of his room, not caring if he was half naked with nothing but a pair of boxers on. Your room was just one down from his, anyway. You were about to sip a cup of your tea when the door flew open, revealing a very angry Levi, clearly not embarrassed about his body. You dropped your teacup, the shattering sound echoing through the room.

“(f/n) (l/n)… WHERE IS IT!?” He yelled, making you stifle a giggle.

"I’m not playing around! Where is Broomy!?”

“Relax, relax,” You put your hands out in defense, trying to cool down his temper. “I didn’t break Broomy. That was a fake.” You turned to your bedroom, pulling out his beloved cleaning tool, a single scratch nowhere to be seen. Before you could turn around, Levi snatched the pole out of your hands, coldly walking away.

“You know, I think you just might love that broom more than me!” You called out to him as he exited your room, and you could hear a scoff escape his mouth.

“Maybe I do!” He countered.

You stood there dumbfounded, thinking about whether or not he just broke up with you or not. He did seem pretty angry. Maybe you could have just left him there and waited. What was it that drove you to take such a move? You felt an itch at the back of your throat, and your eyelids suddenly grew warmer. Staring at the broken china at the ground, you sunk to your knees, head resting on the side of your desk.

‘Guess I messed it up pretty bad…’

Later that night, Levi didn’t show up at dinner. You weren’t surprised. He was indeed still mad at you.

“(f/n), what’s wrong?” Hanji asked, elbows folded in front of you. She seemed more relaxed than usual. Not hearing or paying attention to anything, you sat there, stirring around the grains of rice newly imported from another location. The brown haired squad leader kept calling your name, and on the fifth try, she finally managed to get to you.

“(f/n)? Earth to (f/n)?”

“U-Um, Sorry." You came out of your trance, smiling at your friend to not worry her further. “It’s nothing.”

“It’s not nothing, something happened between you and Levi, right?” You remained silent, but because you didn’t want to talk about it, you stood and decided to walk away. Your room seemed like a better place for you to mope anyway.

Normally at times like this you would be accompanied by the man of the hour, walking down the halls together and talking about nonsense until you reached your room. You never realized how lonely you felt until he was actually gone. Maybe he didn’t love you, but you did. To an exponentially high scale.

At first you didn’t feel it, but a single tear threatened to fall from your reddening (e/c) crystals. You wiped It away with the base of your palm before anymore could run. A loud sniffle came after, and you shakily made your way back your room.

Opening the door, you were surprised to see that the lights were left on. The glass that you had left on the ground was cleaned up, and a small wisp of steam coming from your desk caught your attention. There was a cup. In that cup, was tea. Most likely to repay you for what had happened. There was a small folded paper next to the cup.

“Why…” You picked up the piece of paper and opened it.

Reading the card, your face went red with an indescribable emotion. You dropped the card on the ground, racing out to the location that was printed on the message.

Levi paced back and forth in his room, wondering if you’d forgive him. He didn’t know why he had to act on his impulses constantly- something he wished he could have told you before you started dating. But being the open and easy going person that you were, you really didn’t seem to mind. But because it hit you hard this time, there was nothing he could do but sit and hope that you haven’t lost faith. You meant the world to him- there was no one like you in this small world.

A faint knock resonated through his door, and he swung it open, coming face to face with your desperate self, eye reflecting the apologetic nature you kept for him.

    “Levi, I-mm!”

His lips slammed on to yours, an arm tightly grasping around your waist. Levi kicked the door, closing it, while backing you up so that you lay flush against the wood. The kiss grew deeper, subtle hints of tongue darting out to meet your own hot muscle, small grunts and whimpers coming from you both. When you felt yourself crying, Levi immediately pulled away from you, bringing your smaller frame into his arms.

“I’m sorry… I just…” He began, not knowing what to say.

“I-I know… I should have known that you… you wouldn’t…” You barely made out any words. “Why did I take it so seriously?” You started to laugh, amusing the now smiling black-haired male.

“Because you’re an idiot,” He answered. His hand found yours, rubbing  your palms with his fingers in an effort to soothe you. “But I still love you.”

    “Even more than Broomy?”

    “Yeah.”

You smiled contently, wiping away the lingering moistness still found in your eyes. You felt your hand being dragged over again, and you found Levi guiding you to his bedroom. You didn’t know why, but you had a certain Deja-vu feeling at the way he looked at you. The dark lighting was the same. The location was the same.

Intuition told you that you weren’t leaving at the hard, shrill slamming of the door. His cravat slowly slid off, and you were being pulled over onto his bed once more.

    “Levi, a-are we…”

“Tch, did you not read the note I gave you? I mean it.”

You nodded, blushing at the feelings transferred from his heart into yours. His lips found themselves on yours again, and you sank down into the mattress, relaxing at the little touches he was giving you now.

“Let me love you…” He smoothly whispered, unbuttoning his shirt and yours.

I’m sorry. It's my fault, I feel like shit for yelling at you. Let me make it up to you in my room tonight.

Sorry, i don't believe in this chain message, but I have "overactive imagination". And if I don't do it my mind will make it real and i don't feel like having a Schizophrenic episode tonight.
